The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII, has a intercooled turbo charged 4cyl 2.0 (1.997 to be specific)liter 16 valve DOHC engine putting out 271 horses @6500 rpm and 273 ft pounds of torque @3500 rpm. All this power goes to a 5spd manual AWD transmission. The AWD drive isn't adjustable like in the Subaru STI, but the computer pretty much controls that for you. Its also a little less expensive than the STI. It weighs 3263lbs. And the power to weight ratio is 0.18bhp/kg. Combined fuel economy is 21 mpg.

And Ruth, you need all that stuff to get 271 hp. (although some sources say it gets 276, maybe the air was colder or something.)
